21 Day Study Guide
The aim is to help us understand why followers of Christ can drift away and become disconnected from church or God. Sadly it is quite common due to the knocks we have in life but take a fresh look at the joyful possibility of reconnection and you’ll be richer for it!
Imagine what you might want to hear from God. As a Father who never gives up on his child and who knows what you’ve been through, what might he say to you? Now think about the expression of delight when he sees you coming to him. What awaits you is the warmest welcome, the understanding hug and to have the joyful peace you’ve been missing.
If you would like some or all of these things, you are invited to take 21 days with the God who is for you and does not condemn or point the finger. The best advice is not to rush this like something to get through quickly so it’s done and dusted. Linger so you’ve got time to mull it over and be deeply refreshed. This is more like a refreshing bath to soak in rather than the short sharp shock of a cold shower! It will do you good.

There are various useful books on preaching that you’ll find online. Here’s some practical advice – ask God for the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, spend more time listening/reading the Bible, think about the people you want to reach, use examples/imagery they will understand, listen to the preaching of others and try to get to know one you respect.
